Hari Raya celbration open hosue @ Anzac

It is so true that after coming home from uni, you just don't feel like doing anything. This is why I am here now blogging instead of studying. I have been lazying around for the past 2 and a half hours. I seriously need motivatiooooon. Put this aside, I have something that I would like to share.
Just a note, I have no idea why my palms kept on sweating. Is it cos' it is warm or probably an indication of anything sinister? *gulp*

During ICC meeting yesterday, I was very shocked to see Art. My mind just went blank *speechless* Luckily, I was able to concentrate while taking minutes. I have never expected to see him again really. This was like a super BIG SURPRISE for me. Hey Art, I do hope you enjoy your short holiday in NZ. =)

Okay, back to the intention of this entry. As I have said in my previous entry, I left Elsa's birthday early for my friends' Hari Raya Open House. I will let pictures do the talking.

Or I copied him?

First thing Jon asked when he just came back "Are you studying or blogging" ><

-The End-

Elsa's surprised 21st

My annoying alarm woke me up at 10am which I then reset it to 11am which I snoozed again and finally woke up at 12pm *Gasp* I was hoping to do some catching up with my studies which is the reason why I wanted to wake up early (not that early compared to other people) despite the fact my class starts in the afternoon. Mission failed.

While waiting for my breakfast to be readied, I was thinking to post something on my blog. Here you go. ELSA's SURPRISED 21st ! It was a potluck dinner. I had no idea what to bring so cooked stir fried udon but tasted like Malaysian Mee as what Joanne said. ><
At first I had no idea what this thing was. After tasting it which has a weird and really salty taste, I was told by Nina it was chicken liver. (I don't eat organs). It is to be eaten with crackers.

Apple Crumble. Believe it or not, this is the best home made apple crumble I have tasted. Kudos to Jeanne

Pizza

Arthur brought chicken :):)

Eddie's drumsticks (Haha! It sounds like Eddie's legs are drumsticks) *imagine*

Another chicken dish brought by Joanne

My so-called Malaysian style Udon

Custard Puff

Erm...

Tom Yam Chicken by Nina!
While waiting for Elsa to come back from work... CAM-WHORING

In every event, there will always be a photo of Arthur and I. xD

Nina who was the organiser for this event

Plan was to throw balloons at Elsa when she stepped into the house

Look at this!

Arthur's expression is so funny with his vampire eyes

Titanic? Near, far wherever you are....

Chinese, white and Indian! Multicultural maaaan!

Bea looked sad/posing?

OMG! I don't want to be kissed by Arthur cos' if that happens, his other 6 wives will strangle me to death (o_o)

Kung fu with balloons

It was a really cold and wet day. That was sleet. This year I experienced snow again outdoor while walking back home from grocery shopping.

I only stayed for about 1.30 hours because I had to attend my Bruneian friends' open house for Eid's celebration. (Next entry)

Miss Saigon + Mid autumn Festival 2010

There are so many things running through my mind at this moment - Elective, Assignment, Exam, Tests, Studies/Revision, Internship for next year, and other non-study related stuff. My highest priority is to study for my upcoming finals but every time I wanted to do so, there'll always be something going on.No one will ever ever understand the amount of workload that I have! Everyone seems to think that I am a genius/smart (Let me emphasize: I AM NOT!) or whatsoever and others just care about themselves. It doesn't mean that I keep quiet, I am okay with things. I really need to pass my exam. People, I am a human being too and I cannot just do things 24/7 without resting.

To get away from all these, I have decided to post an entry about Miss Saigon and Mooncake Festival

Last Tuesday, Jon and I went to watch Miss Saigon at Regent Theatre. To tell you the truth with a partial opinion, this musical was really EXCELLENT! I even downloaded the soundtrack and have been listening to it over and over again. I went to something similar two years ago - CATS and I can't choose which is better. =) My money is really well spent on this kind of thing.

Another upcoming show is Sleeping Beauty by The Imperial Russian Ballet on 29 September. I am very tempted to go but then due to financial factor, I will skip this. Also, I can study at home then (Hopefully, there's nothing that distract/prevent me from studying)

Mooncake/ Mid-Autumn festival - I only celebrated this with my flatmate and Zai. Thank you Jon for getting mooncakes and cooking. Love u JonJonJon as FLATMATE. =P
I have no idea that how on earth did I manage to finish two whole mooncake (Of course not at one go but within about 3 days) cos' others told me that after a small slice of mooncake, they could not take in another slice. Hmm...

Today is a sunny day indeed - means LAUNDRY! 2 loads of laundry! =D=D=D I do my laundry every week or sometimes less than that and not waiting for my clothes to run out. And each batch took me about half an hour just to hang. That is why I hate doing laundry but I just can't not do. It is very time consuming for me cos' after they take abuot 3-4 days to dry completely (I don't have a dryer :( ) And ironing and folding can take me up to one hour, believe it or not!

Xoxo
